Mars Petcare, the global pet care business, needed a better way for sales reps and distributors in Brazil to access marketing collateral, training materials, and social collaboration tools from the field. Working with Xamarin and Fortuitas, the company set out to replace a browser-based portal with an easy-to-use mobile app that would improve access to high-value content.

Xamarin helped Fortuitas build a cross-platform iOS and Android app using the Xamarin Platform and 100% Xamarin.Forms shared code. The app was completed in four months, cut iOS and Android development time by at least 50%, and increased portal users from a few hundred to nearly 3,000, significantly boosting employee engagement and mobile access to sales resources.
